Solute Advanced Concepts is looking for a senior software engineer to join one of our on-site programs, providing technical expertise, guidance, architecture, development and support in many different technologies directly to government customers. Applicants will require an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE and must possess excellent communication skills in addition to impressive technical acumen.

Compensation: Between $90,000 - $120,000 depending upon qualifications

Requirements

  • ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Web Sockets
    • Data Ingest Pipelines
    • Cyber Security
    • OWF/OZP
    • Complex Event Processing
    • ArcGIS / Web Maps
    • Geospatial Applications
    • JBoss
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other algorithmic-centric discipline
  • 3+ years of experience working in core Java or other Object Oriented languages
  • 3+ years of experience working in JavaScript and one or more modern web frameworks
  • Experience designing and implementing responsive and highly available systems
  • Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience developing complex enterprise class software running on server platforms
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and come up with technical designs
  • Experience with software systems utilizing many disparate technologies that have been successfully delivered to customer
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance or active security clearance
